AM

A. DL – 5,4,3,2,1; rest 6 min
Well, my game plan was to go 5 at 235, 4 at 245, 3 at 255, 2 at 265 (previous 1RM) and 1 at 270/275. That plan didn’t work at all…I think I started out way too heavy. Here’s how it went…235(5), 245(4), 255(1). Could not maintain form after the first rep of 255, just felt fried. Decided to call it a day on deads.

B. Close Bench Press – 5,5,3,3,1,1; rest 4 min
95(5), 100(5), 110(3), 115(3), 120(1), 130(1 – PR!)

C. 85% of 1 in B amrap x 1 set
Used 110 and went for 6 reps.

Energy: 5…not a lot of energy today.

Recovery: 5…haven’t been sleeping well…getting to bed late.
