Logbook for Tuesday, September 6, 2011

Started the Wendler 531 Program today. Did Press and Deadlift. I’ve been finding it really hard lately to get the motivation to train partly because I don’t have a plan. Well, now I have a plan…sort of. I’m planning on doing a Wendler cycle every 2 weeks, B4B workouts on Tuesdays when possible, San Diego crew workouts on Sunday’s and run group on Wednesday’s when possible.

So, here are my results for today:

Wendler Day 1

Press

Warmup:
2×5 @ 45
1×3@ 50

Worksets:
1×5@55
1×5@65
AMRAP @ 70 = 11 reps

Deadlift

Warmup:
1×5@100
1×5@120
1×3@145

Worksets:
1×5@160
1×5@180
AMRAP @ 205 = 11 reps

Then, finished up with 4 sets for max strict pullups with 20 double unders between

Got 4, 1, 2, and 3 reps for PU’s
